Please proceeed to http://triathlonmok.blogspot.com8 juillet OSIM TriathlonDid well and came in 6th in the U23 category.
Swim was a little short, but my swim trainings with PAYSC really paid off as I managed to come out with SEA GAmes Gold Medallist Jing XIan into the bike leg. Bike leg was real fast and i struggled to follow. The run was super hot man!!. THe angmoh infront of me started to walk but i told myself it must be easier for me since I live in this hot country anyway. So i pushed on. And i puked so many times. THen i finished. So tiring man!!.
But the time was good. 2.02.40. Improvement of 7min from 2005, and 17min from 2004. If i never focus on National track and field during holidays, I would have broken the 2 hour barrier. But nvm, it was a sacrifice. THanks to New Balance and Scott bicycles for thier sponsorship to allow me to reach thus far. I hope I have their support for the many years to come.
Next competiton will be Nationals track and field. 5000m and 1500m. THereafter, I have races every week till the 2nd of september (Port dickson triathlon, NUS triathlon, China Triathlon asian champs, Real run, AHM, NB aquathlon, Singapore Open Track and Field. It will be hectic, but I plan to focus on my studies and training to ensure I get the best of both worlds. Prelims start in 11/9. Then I will be out again on 7 october for Pulai Triathlon. THen A levels from 2/11 to 29/11. THen of cus the SIngapore Marathon on 3 Dec.
BTW, if any of you readers out there wanna sponsor my registration fees for races and also for transport up to malaysia to race, do contact me at 91597760 or email me @ mok88@singnet.com.sg hahahaha. We can always work out what you wanna print on my race suit. :P I am getting broke man. I need to tahan a little more till i start working. HAHA. And energy drinks are freaking expensive and so is healthy food like fruit juice and organic stuff!! . HAHAHAHA.
I will see you guys at the races.
I will post the picture of OSIM triathlon when it comes out on Sportsphotox. Seems like they missed out the elite athletes!
4 juin Charity Bike and BladeWoohoo. just came back last monday form the charity bike event at malaysia. It was great experience. 458km in 3 days. 150km a day. It was great to know powerful riders like SIA pilot Richard and Brian. haha. next year i promise to start racing on day 1 and not wait till the last day. HAHAHA. bring it on man.
First time such high mileage. It is great base training for my OSIM triathlon coming up. 1 month of specific speed training should get me into shape...
Since the whole national triathlon teeam is in china training, my official training partners will be Triathlon Family, RJC cross country and PAYSC swim team for this whole holidays. Hope my training plan will work! haha. wish me luck.
see you at OSIM! 25 avril UpdateSo much for being focused on running. I have missed the Singapore Biathlon, missing the chance to earn my share of $2000. And all I got was a bronze medal for national cross country. But hell, it was a better experience than winning it last year. Money could not have bought such an experience. Congrats to Darsh and jeffrey for winning the top 2 placings!!
Woohoo, for my multisport race is this saturday in the inter-school aquathlon. Lots of fast swimmers in the field. It would be an exciting race! Its at the nice lagoon at sentosa. Hope i have my first win of the year.

26 février Painful RaceWah... today race was damn damn tiring. My first duathlon ever and it was so tortourous.
First 10km - i just tried to follow Kristof, from belgium. He is a teacher in thailand and he flew in just to race. did a 33min 49sec. quite a good time.
Bike - dieded la. my bike so weak also la. haha. and so many ppl.
Last 5km Run - Wah lau. never felt so much lactic in my legs beofre man. I was practically suffering. If someone overtake me, i sure cannot respond one. It was so painful. Cant believe it. Any exagerrated movements, and i will get cramps. Anyway survived with a 19.08 run. I finished 2nd behind Kristof.
After that, tried to warm down but it was too difficult. Getting cramps real easily.
Good race anyway.
Check out the new pictures uploaded. and also the new Video section where you can see some videos of me in the race. haha.
See you at more races ppl. Thanks for all the trifam peeps who cheered for me. It was so tough that the encouragement was much appreciated. Thanks toMr Quek and Renuka for coming too. What a surprise. Boosted my morale.
